I am an artist and print maker. I’m inspired by the world around me. I love landscapes. I love being in them, walking, running, cycling. I love to try and capture them in photographs, drawings, prints and watercolours.

Although drawn to natural landscapes (I live in Yorkshire at the foot of Wharfedale and surrounded by the Dales and the Pennines) I’m also intrigued by industrial and urban landscapes.

As a gardener and horticulturalist I also love plants, trees and flowers and I’m drawn to the fine detail, colours and textures of plants.

In September 2022 I embarked on a two year part time MA in Fine Art at Leeds Beckett University. I had just the most incredible time, diving deep into art, not just making but researching, attending talks and exhibitions and getting the chance to curate. I graduated from my MA with Distinction in October 2024 and I’m now embarking on a PhD by practice to continue to develop my art.
