A walk from Ilkley back home to Otley (I got the bus to Ilkley). I hadn’t intended to use this walk for my art, but the thought that it was simply ‘a walk home’ was quite appealing. Also, it felt right to choose a fairly abstract, nondescript image from my mass of photos. Almost tempted to go with the picturesque, blue skies, burnt grass and wispy clouds, but that felt just a bit twee.
