A walk from Timble to Round Hill and back via the shooting lodge. No art intent behind today’s walk but plenty of inspiration from the landscape around me.

Also came across two more stones with ‘benchmarks’ carved into them. One of the stones was a boundary marker denoting the edge of Knaresborough Forest and was dated 1625. So the benchmark will have been added later. Most were carved in 1840 but some date back to 1831.

Will definitely do something based on these marks but not sure what form that will take.
