I had the opportunity just before Christmas to design a poster for the Leeds Philharmonic Chorus to promote their upcoming concert, a performance of Ola Gjeilo’s Sunrise Mass. This was a competition and I was delighted to find out early in the New Year that I’d won. And, the printed posters arrived home this week, always nice to see one’s work in print. The prize included a season ticket to all of the Chorus’s performances this year, so I may well go and see both performances on Saturday 21 March. The singing will be accompanied by a film produced by the Northern Film School, also part of Leeds Becket University, so a nice bit of synergy there too.

The image I have used on the poster was one of many photographs I took last spring when we were on the Isle of Skye.
